Dr. Julia Rector, DDS
Dr. Rector, better known as Dr. Julia to her patients, is a graduate of Clay High School in South Bend, IN. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and graduated magna cum laude from Depauw University. At DePauw, Dr. Julia was involved in numerous activities, including service trips, leadership roles in Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and being a mentor. After her undergraduate education, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. During her time at IU School of Dentistry, Dr. Julia was involved in the Student Outreach Clinic, the American Dental Education Association, and served as an Admissions Ambassador and a Clinic Representative. The highlight of her time was a service trip to Guatemala, where she served the dental needs of children in rural areas.
Dr. Julia completed an intensive 2-year residency program at Riley Children’s Hospital. The experience brought her many opportunities to grow as a person and as a provider. She is excited to apply all she has learned to give your child the best dental experience possible!
Dr. Julia enjoys how rewarding it is to be involved in the communities she serves and is grateful for the opportunity to help your child have a positive and educational experience at the dentist. Her passion for working with children and promoting oral health means every day at Hoosier Pediatric Dental Group is rewarding. In her free time, Dr. Rector enjoys the outdoors, running, reading, and playing the piano.
